It's been quite a year with the workload of senior year, work, and of course the burden of college applications, but I am pleased with the conclusion of 2025 along with the various projects that I took on this year. Since time is quite scarce to come across, I've attempted to keep my expectations in-line with what I could actually achieve this Spring and Summer. My most important project that has been ongoing for quite some time now is both the RTEM and the FELT(Previously Alti-Logger).

FELT - Flight Environment Logger and Telemetry

The most attention will most likely be poured into FELT as it will be launched on the Corporal late spring or early summer for data collection. Calibration tests have proven time and time again that the system is very accurate and able to run ~10 Hz quite reliably, at this point in time the focus is on creating a case/enclosure for FELT without obstructing its telemetry or data-taking capabilities.

RTEM - Rocket Thrust Evaluation Module

I have begun putting more research into wireless protocols that would allow for seamless communication even from my bedroom to the backyard. The actual electronics have been scarce and/or expensive and hard to justify given the small amount of practical use the module has been receiving for the past couple of months (still revising motor design for safety while improving performance).

Corporal - Expected Launch Date and Motor Sims

Displays of various motor configs Finding a date to get out to the field has become extremely though with work and school. I am hopefully expecting a launch date sometime late spring or early summer as previously stated. Motors, specifically the one that is highlighted in blue in the image above (which would give me the most optimal deployment/apogee), have been hard to come by for a reasonable price, but it seems like the prices and supply are back to normal. I hope to get out there on a warm Saturday to test FELT at least 2 times with good results, this means I need to get 2 or 4 motors which each cost around $23 - the price catches up quick. Regardless, I have high hopes for both the launch of the Corporal and success of FELT.
